インドにおける障がい者雇用ってどんなイメージでしょうか？
障がいに関わらず仕事がなくて困っている人々がたくさんなインド
（貧困の比率？は改善しているともきくけれど）
どこまで手が回っているのやら？というのが私の正直な印象だったかもしれない。
What do you imagine for employment for differently abeled people in India?
Regardless of disabilities, many people are suffering from poverty here.
(Even though it is said that the situation is improving)
To be honest I did not have high expectation.
帰省したときに、知的障がいとともに生きる人のチョコを買ってきてて、
)とともに会社にお土産を買って帰ったら、
インド人の同僚が、
デリーにも障がいを持った人が働いてるカフェがあるよーと教えてくれて、
一緒に行ってきた。
When I came back to Kyoto, I bought chocolates made by those who have intellectual disabilities.
I shared them with the story behind.
Then one of my colleague told me that there are interesting cafe where differently abled people are working in Delhi.
We went there together :)
その子は学生時代によく行ってたらしい。
障がい者雇用という観点というよりは、
カフェそのものが好きでめぐりあったお店らしい。
その子は障がいのある人のことを英語でDifferently Abledと表現している。
電車の優先席でも同じ表現を見る。
違ったさまざまな能力を持った人、
というニュアンス、素敵だなと思う。
He have visited that cafe often when he was a university student.
He got to know it because they hire differently abled people but the cafe is attractive as it is.
I like that he describe "differently abled" for those who have disabilities.
You can see the same expression in priority seats in metro.
It seems very beautiful & colorful way to describe.
カフェに張ってあったコンセプトがまたよくって、
Speak with your hands,
Listen with your eyes.
耳の聞こえないスタッフが働いてるので、
スタッフを呼ぶブザーや、
いろんなステッカー（ありがとう、お勘定お願いします、など）
お店の雰囲気もポップでおしゃれである^^
I love the concept of the cafe :)
You can see unique schemes/devices
such as cards saying "Thank you!" "Bill Pls" and Buzzer to call the staffs who cannot hear.
Also the atmosphere of the cafe is very pop and cute.
ごはんはコンチネンタル系で、
パスタとかナチョスとかでおなかいっぱいになった。
デリー大学の南キャンパスの近くなので、
学生が多かったかも。値段も手ごろ、（パスタが600円くらいやったかな？）
デザインってだいじだなーと改めておもった。
They serve continental foods.
It is located near the Delhi Univ. South Campus so many students were there.
The prices are reasonable for them.
I recognized again that (social)DESIGN is important.
My senior told me that big franchised coffee shop, Costa Coffee also encourages employment for differently abled people.
一方で、こないだ病院行った時に聞いた話では、
精神障がいに対してはネガティブなイメージがまだ強く、
受診をためらう人も多いみたい。
On the other hand, I head that many people have negative image for mental disorder,
which made people hesitate to see a psychiatrist.
障害者雇用とは別の観点で、
インドでは接客サービス業があまり高い位置の仕事とはみなされていなくて
それでサービス提供者が誇りを持ちにくいという面があるらしく
そこはなんか悩ましいなと思うけど。
ファーストフードとかの店員さんは日本と比べると適当かな、、
お客さんが待ってても雑談してたり。
彼ら自身がサービスを受ける側を経験していないから、
どんなサービスが喜ばれるか想像しづらいということもあるらしい。
いろんな立場を経験することも大事だなと思う。
経験してなくても想像することも大事だけど。
でも遊びに行ったカフェは店員さんとてもにこやかで素敵だった^^
自分の持っている感覚器官を大切に生かさなきゃ、
ノンバーバル、身体感覚って重要、と思ったやー
The other point is that in India, (food)service industry is not recognized as a good job.
So it is difficult for the workers to be proud of their role...
How the staff of fast-food restaurant behave is not good as Japan, I feel.
They continue chatting even the customers are waiting...
They themselves have few experience to be served, making them difficult to imagine how the clients feel.
It is important to Experience different standpoints.
Of course Imagine even without experience is also essential.
Btw the staff in the cafe was very amiable :) I wonder how they are trained.
I thought I want to make the most of my senses :)
