Advantages of constructing personas in your design process??
Advantages of constructing personas in design process would include:
(1)Personas make the design task less complicated by creating concrete user images composed of what they value, how they spend daily lives, what are their future goals etc.
(2)Personas can guide ideation processes such as Brainstorm
(3)Personas can help the stakeholders (i.e. colleagues and clients etc.) to consider and refer back during the design process—which really means that the team is Engaging for the users.
Those advantages would help us create a good user experience for the target user group.
Among four persona approaches (Goal oriented, Role based, ENGAGING and Proto ), I would choose Engaging personas. The reason is that engaging personas can include both goal-directed and role-based personas, and also the more traditional rounded personas. The good feature of engaging personas is that it can help design team to overcome stereotypical descriptions by looking at the whole person instead of focusing only on behavior and engage more to the life of the persona.
