Joined 3 hours-hiking in a group n had interesting talk with a cup of chai ☕
Waking in forests help me to breathe..
Talked with a Lady from Montreal, working as an English teacher for 30 years here.
She said it was stressful to get along with other teacher from US, rather than adapting to Japanese culture !!
Also she traveled to India last summer. She preferred to take a train than taxi.. she asked the way to someone and 2ppl told her that she must register her passport to travel office bcz of new tax GST... Everything can be a reason for cheating travelers in India..she ends up to go to Dharamshala by taxi for 300 USD ! Omg ! But what an adventurous lady !
Interesting thing was when she asked me about my impressions to Toronto, I answered that it's nice comprehensive city but what is the identity of Toronto itself is not clear bcz if its history. And I prefer India to Toronto cz every state in India has its own culture. Then she said it's a complex of Toronto... Same that I prefer Yokohama to Tokyo. But I myself might be like Toronto. I accept many views but what's my unique point !? Will be 30soon but still in an identity crisis !? Omg.
Btw there was also a gentleman from Switzerland, who has lived in Japan around 30 years. He worked for Finance industry, embassy , completed MBA and now running chocolate shops !
What an adventurous life he had lived :)
I think tasting new area is fun and important to be flexible but i feel have nothing professional, just roaming around :(((
He said in Japan ppl have few opportunity to learn business. Entrepreneurship would be key point for Japanese to acquire. I'm also interested in that and will try to exploit his experience more when meeting next time :)
Recently Im trying to talk abt myself, not just listen to others .
It's important to make myself understood by ppl around me too!
Finally we dropped at small cafe whose owner loves India :))
Chai was sooooooooo nice.
First she boil cinamon stick and cardamon.
Then add chai leave and milk.
Water / milk half & half.
Strong cinnamon flavor is good for winter :))
When I talked with her that running a cafe, having own business is nice , she said, you need to love people. I feel happy when ppl gather together here and talk to each other. It's not going red but not that profitable.
Then I found that before making profit it's important to verbalize..
1) what is the value you offer to the client ?
2) what kind of clients you want to invite ?
Thanks for many happy meeting with new people :)
