Had a counseling for language learning
What was my need?
- to learn how the counselor Listen to me
-> wanted to utilise/ integrate the good points of her to improve my coaching skill
-wanted to put priority n make strategy for my language learning
... Interested in 4 languages now :
English, Hindi, Spanish n Tagalog
What happened?
Main focus was put to introduce trial lessons which would my need.( Offering information)
Also a bit coaching oriented questions and FEEDBACK was included.
( Essays written by the recommended teacher eventually helped too )
0) making reservation for the counseling:

Aims/ reasons/ background of each language
->writing those points itself helped me a lot.
in the counseling.. (30min)

-The counselor confirmed my points & the language courses which I have booked
-How was the class you took?
-> assignment was good
->you can ask other teachers to make assignment too.
2)the counselor directly asked me how is my priority.
-> that is what I want to clarify with you , I answered
->perspectives to be considered:
a)Frequently of USE
b)Is it URGENT or not
c)Is it difficult to learn by yourself?
& According to the messages I sent in advance, the counselor felt that
1) English
2) Hindi
3)4) Spanish & Tagalog
Hm, that is true, I feel the same. It was good to have a FEEDBACK.
3) then the counselor gave me information that I can take 5 trial lessons for free and she searched 2spanish teaches, 2tagalog teachers n 4 English teachers.
😊if I were a counselor, what I would add ?/ With what kind of intention?
1)Confirm how I learned each language, what I have done so far
-> recognize the effort, inducing ideas what to do next
( the counselor asked me how I am learning English & what's my struggles: speed in among native speakers especially in groups)
She might focused on English, which is my top priority
2) to which level I want to achieve?
-> put priority n make strategy
So, what would be my action plan?

(Especially American & Canadian, which seems to be hard for me ): take trial course

-watch English movies/TED talks every morning...? Should be simple n easy...
Focus on some topics in interested in -> blogging 20 articles by November
: Counseling related/human relationships/ strength finder
(Go to cafe English conversation session)
How to review??
Listen repeatedly till I get the meaning, maybe...
