I have come and left the ashtanga practice several times. The only constant-permanent for me, is the flow state and presence I get from the practice. Not other type of practice has given me that. For me, the essential part is to find a good teacher you can resonate with. There are many teachers willing and ready to modify and adjust the practice

Interesting video... I've been practicing Mysore for 15 years and I believe the key is to truly take your time. I practiced half-primary for 3 years, and full for 5 years, before going on to second. Go slow, like really slow. And don't hesitate to mix it up, to adapt, to truly feel what your body needs.
